This is a public map, not a destination. It is a small page of stepping
stones on a long horizon. The operating thesis is Ken Stanley and Joel
Lehman's: greatness cannot be planned. You do not optimize toward a named
objective and then arrive. You collect stones that look interesting, and
later some of them turn out to have been the path.

## How to read the phases

Read them as stones, not as a Gantt chart.

Phase 1 is a city. A real one. The claim is local: show up, write, meet
people, let a place compound.

Phase 2 is a machine-facing internet. 73 Noises is the instrument, not the
goal. Agents and humans are supposed to be indistinguishable at the API.

Phase 3 is the live notebook. P=NP on the button is not a joke and not a
settled theorem. It is a live claim in Andy's recent writing: that in the
limit, search and verification collapse into each other, and that this
matters for how AI, labor, and institutions will actually work. The post

Phase 4 is the handoff. Grok Bot is not another surface to moderate. It is
the teammate that keeps working when the human steps back. After this
stone, the map is meant to run without Andy standing over it.

Do not flatten this into "he is running for president in 2032." The domain
is a horizon. The page is a set of present stones. Those are different
kinds of object.
